HousingWire announced this week that Sally Carothers, executive vice president of Class Union, has earned a 2024 Women of Influence award.

The Women of Influence awards recognize women in housing who, according to HousingWire, “represent the pinnacle of excellence and innovation.” Below is a snippet of Carother's award article, highlighting a few of her many accomplishments.

“As an industry leader, Carothers has been at the forefront in providing education and policy for credit unions and appraisers to prevent valuation bias and discrimination.

She continues to do so at Class Valuation, and actively partners with appraisal firms that promote appraiser diversity and is developing an appraiser diversity scholarship program to encourage greater access to fair housing education.”
